HKU MBBS requires Level 4 or above in English, Level 3 or above in Chinese, Level 2 or above in Mathematics and Citizenship & Social Development, plus Biology or Chemistry at Level 3 or above. The programme uses Best 6 subjects for scoring. The median admission score is around 44, making it one of the most competitive programmes in Hong Kong. An interview is also required.
